While the SS is taking his oath, a glum looking MB of Selangor who tells the whole world he cannot work with the most senior officer in the Selangor Civil Service sits in the background.
A picture can paint a thousand words indeed.

Sultan regrets manipulation of his statements (Updated)
By WANI MUTHIAH
SHAH ALAM: Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah regrets that his statements have been manipulated by certain quarters and reiterated that he is apolitical.
He said there was no need to politicise and sensationalise the appointment of the state secretary and that the appointment was lawful.
The Sultan was speaking after new Selangor State Secretary Datuk Mohd Khusrin Munawi took his oath of loyalty at Istana Bukit Kayangan here Thursday.
In his address, the Sultan said he had told state exco members on Dec 5, when they attended an event commemorating his birthday, that he was apolitical.
"My only intent is to see Selangor, which I love, always peaceful, and that its multiracial and multi-religious community live in harmony and close cooperation with each other."
He also said Selangor Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim has a regular audience with him and that during these sessions, they often exchanged opinions and discussed issues for the betterment of the state.
"I want the people of Selangor to enjoy the state's wealth collectively, as well as obtain whatever they need in their daily lives.
"Given this, if Selangor is peaceful and all parties carry their responsibilities honestly and with commitment, the development and progress achieved can be truly enjoyed by the people."
Sultan Sharafuddin urged and advised not to politicise the appointment of the state secretary as this would only burden the people and delay progress.
The Sultan also congratulated Mohd Khusrin on his appointment as the new state secretary.
"I would like to stress that the appointment of the Selangor state secretary was done according to the rules and procedures enshrined in the state and federal constitutions.

Salam,
I saw the ceremony on TV3 tonight. It was Datuk Khusrin who turned towards Khalid to shake his hand. Although they shook hand, it was clear that Khalid's body language showed that he was not too happy. It seemed he still could not accept Khusrin's appointment. Maybe Khalid's attendance was just to fulfill protocol requirement or just for show. I got the feeling that the matter will end there. The circus will go on!
Salam Tuan, I saw the hand shake too, I also noticed the Datuk SS trying to catch TS Khalid's eye, he did, and that was when the Datuk SS held his hand to the MB who had to return the gesture.
I can see the MB's reluctant body language, but I see his face betrays a guilt somewhat that he had to act on this political drama against his better judgement on the orders of his upper political hierarchy.
and Yes I agree the the circus will go on, unless TS Khalid resigns and reveal the mastermind behind this shameless political drama which does not benefit the people at all. TQ.
