KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 11 — More than 120 civil society group representatives banded together today to pressure the Najib administration to set up a royal commission of inquiry (RCI) to probe Teoh Beng Hock’s death.
The groups, led by the KL-Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall, also backed the Malaysians for Beng Hock Movement’s (MBHM) list of suggested public personalities to be appointed to the RCI.

As a follow up to the inquest on Teoh Beng Hock's death it seemed that the DAP has quite successfully put up a campaign to pressure the Government to form an RCI to also probe the Teoh Beng Hock's death.
I think Teoh Beng Hock's death has been unashamedly politicized too heavily as it is, some of these people wants a verdict that says Teoh died because he was murdered by officers from the SPRM that is what they really wanted the verdict to be. They will never accept anything else.
The silent majority wants closure too, but it should go through the normal legal process.
The Najib Government through the AG office has done the right thing that is to seek a revision of the inquest verdict at the High Court. The report here.
The Government should stay the course and not buckle under unwarranted political pressure brought to bear by the DAP, in fact the SPRM should continue further on the investigations of abuse of power which led the late Teoh to the SPRM office in the first place.

I think so. NOTHING ELSE. Either you succumbed to that, or you just follow the law & order, naturally, without fear. (you mean the current weak gomen)
Bro Kenn, I read your post. I think this BN Gomen is not weak but is all too eager to please everybody.
I think they should remember that its just impossible to please everybody in a multiracial and multi-religious Malaysia.
