Remember 29th September 2013, the day that decided PR's fate in PRU14

Truth be told:

"RoS acted on the complaints of several disgruntled members who claimed the December election was not properly conducted after the party announced that a tabulation glitch had resulted in the wrong candidate being elected to the CEC."

The Registrar of Societies gave the DAP a second chance to call for a new CEC Elections, which DAP did yesterday on 29th September 2013 after calling the ROS all sort of ungentlemanly names.

The DAP delegates did not dissapoint UMNO who played the race card successfully against them last election by electing a non Malay CEC. Well, they tried very hard to put up Zairil Khir Johari as a Malay candidate but we Malays are not easily fooled ya.

The second CEC Election could have been a wonderful opportunity for the DAP to show to Malaysians that they really are not anti-Malay as what UMNO has been portraying them all these years, but they squandered that opportunity big time. Worse they tried to pass off Zairil who is the step son of the late Khir Johari as a Malay who got elected into the CEC.... DAP Chinese think Malays are stupid people or what? Malays maybe faulted with their take it easy tidak apa attitude but are not stupid people OK, please read here.

Lim Guan Eng can try his best to brow beat the ROS into submitting to them but the DAP led Pakatan Rakyat had been dealt a terrible blow on 29 September 2013, that's the day that the Malays in Malaysia are shown the middle finger by the DAP delegates, yes Malays are worth only 50sen in the DAP

There is no way a DAP led Pakatan Rakyat can occupy Putrajaya without the support of the Majority Malays. Pakatan Rakyat fate in PRU14 is now effectively sealed, no second coming of the Chinese Tsunami can help the Pakatan Rakyat then.

PAS better watch out, best to start talking to UMNO and do it nicely if you want to be part of the Federal Gomen.

DAP wins bid to proceed with fresh election on Sunday. Excerpts:

"The greenlight to proceed was given after the High Court in Kuala Lumpur today allowed the application by party secretary-general Lim Guan Eng to strike out a suit and an injunction by former Ladang Paroi DAP branch vice-chairman A. David Dass, who claimed that members were not given 10 weeks' notice to hold the election.

Rosnaini said the decision to hold fresh polls ultimately lies with the party.

"The plaintiff is asking the court to question the party's standing order for the party to call the polls via the National Congress. I think this is a matter which the court cannot do."

She said the word “decision” stated in Section 18 (c) of the Act should be given a wide and liberal meaning.

"It means that DAP may face the possibility of being deregistered by holding the polls via a Special Congress, instead of a National Congress, but that is up to RoS (Registrar of Societies) and not for the court to speculate what would be or should be."

I have a question...

What do we tell a Malaysian who.....

Does not want to speak Bahasa Melayu;

DO NOT want to sing the national anthem when asked, and refuses to stand if the national anthem is being sung;

Only selectively respects the Perlembagaan,

DO NOT respect The DYMM Raja-Raja Melayu,

Think Chin Peng is a hero.

What do we tell them?

Contest for Ketua Pemuda UMNO,will it be a Khairy or Akhramsyah win?

Updated 26.09.2013:

A must read post by blogger Sri Tri Buana on the dangers of UMNO diverting to a liberal party:
excerpts:

Original Post:

I am happy to observe that there will be five candidates for the coveted Ketua Pemuda UMNO post:

1. Khairy Jamaluddin
2. Irwan Ambak,
3. Syed Rosli Syed Harman Jamalullail
4. Karim Ali
5. Akhramsyah Sanusi

Not too long ago, I lamented the situation where there  were no challengers against the incumbent, Khairy Jamaluddin as I do not see Pemuda UMNO under Khairy or before that Hishamuddin  as being the pressure group it once was. Pemuda UMNO has lost its oomph, and the rot started when Hishamuddin was Ketua Pemuda (I remembered the kris incident where Hishamuddin later apologised after the March 2008 election) and unfortunately when Khairy became Ketua Pemuda he was more interested in being a populist, still is I think.

Anyway of the five candidates I think only 2 stands out and worth mentioning namely Khairy the Oxford graduate and Arkamsyah who graduated from the very prestigious Imperial College, London.

The Incumbent Khairy, the liberalist:

Relative unknown Akhramsyah the conservative:

UMNO is a conservative party, its support base are Conservative Malays who voted in numbers for UMNO and rescued BN from certain defeat by the loose DAP,PKR,PAS coalition in May 2013. I do not think in the long run that people with liberal views in UMNO should be allowed to flourish as UMNO itself is a conservative party, that is UMNO's core strength which will endear it to the  conservative Malays. If UMNO goes liberal, how is it different from PKR then?

With incumbency and a Minister's post on Khairy's side, it will be an uphill task for Akhramsyah to deny Khairy one more term as Ketua Pemuda. But then again man can plan, but ALLAH decides and perhaps this could be the year of the giant slayer.

I hope the election is a clean one unlike the previous three cornered fight and my money is on Akhramsyah to slay Khairy in the UMNO election next month.

The UMNO VP race is going to be really hot

1. Zahid Hamidi
2. Hishamuddin Husssein
3. Shafei Apdal
4. Ali Rustam
5. Isa Samad
6. Mukriz Mahathir

Of the six it seems the incumbents are forming a tag team though they are not admitting it, but a picture tells a thousand words kan:

The VP will be an important post to win as Muhyiddin at 65 look likely to end his political career before the GE14 in 2018. Those who win the VP will have a direct shot at the Timbalan Presiden post and with it the post of Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia.

Expect some fireworks friends, I hope the best men will win the VP post it matters not their age as long as they are healthy and of sound mind and let us have a clean election, jangan main duit OK.

Dr. Mahathir Mohamed

My money though is on these 3 UMNO men to win:

1. Zahid Hamidi
2. Mukhriz Mahathir
3. Ali Rustam

But good luck to all, manusia merancang, ALLAH yang menentukan.....

Time now for MCA to decide whether they are with BN or against BN

'If Umno does not wish Najib Razak to go down in history as the last Malaysian Prime Minister to have come from the party, then Umno members must demand that MCA be held accountable for its media mouthpiece backstabbing the BN.'
Blogger Helen Ang

Time now for MCA to decide whether they are with UMNO or against UMNO:

PERBEZAAN ANTARA SINAR HARIAN DAN THE STAR

Abu mayat Chin Peng: MCA, Pemuda Umno berbeza pandangan

The MCA failed miserably to deliver the Chinese votes for BN in GE13 and with GE14 coming soon in 4 years time, MCA sure could not deliver the votes if they allow the paper they owned , The Star, to wallop UMNO and the BN day in day out in the days, months and years to come and in fact some MCA leaders are publicly agreeing to Opposition's political stance especially on issues considered sensitive in this country.

The fact is the MCA with its paper TheStar is now a liability to BN in its battle to win the next PRU14.

UMNO as the dominant party in BN should look closely at MCA and demand that MCA and its paper toe the BN line or else!

Dr. Mahathir: Masa Depan UMNO

Masa depan UMNO
TUN DR. MAHATHIR MOHAMAD ialah bekas Presiden UMNO.

SAYA berasa serba salah.

Mereka muda-muda belaka. Purata usia mereka belum pun setengah abad.

Kata pepatah Inggeris "Money is the root of all evil" (Duit adalah punca segala kejahatan).

Sesungguhnya perjuangan orang Melayu belum selesai. Janganlah anak cucu kita mengutuk kita kerana ketamakan kita memusnahkan masa depan mereka.

Chin Peng is dead and he is no hero nor a patriot

The Butcher of Malaya, Chin Peng died on 16 September 2013 in Bangkok, Thailand.

From premier blog Out Syed The Box......Comments by Tun Haniff Omar who was the Inspector General of Police at the time of the Haadyai Peace Accords:

"Chin Peng dedicated himself to the Communist Internationale soon after the Japanese invasion of China in the late 1930s. On the direction of the USSR, he and the CPM cooperated with the British Force 136 to fight the Japanese Occupation of Malaya.

After the war, he carried out the order of the USSR to plunge Malaya into a cruel insurrection for 41 years. On the advice of his international mentor, he carefully kept the power within the CPM in the hands of its Chinese leaders. His struggle was to make us a communist satellite state - not a free country with democratic freedom to choose our system and leadership of government.

From my first day as a police officer in 1959 to Dec 1989 I was fighting CPM terrorists or subversives.

In 1988, they made overtures to talk us into a peace agreement through Rashid Maidin's letter to Tun Ghaffar Baba and the Thai Army. I asked Tan Sri Rahim Noor, my Director Special Branch to clear with the Prime Minister, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamed to accept the offer to talk peace with the CPM - although it was already a spent force so that we could put them aside and concentrate fully on our national and economic development without further distractions.

We were generous in our peace terms and allowed all the CPM terrorists of Malaysian and Singapore origins and their families to return to Malaysia provided they applied to do so within one year of signing the Agreement. About 300 ex terrorists returned but we did not sight any application from Chin Peng.

I have no love for him yet would have fought for the terms of the Agreement to be honoured only because of the principle that our honour demands that we keep our side of any bargain.

When Chin Peng applied many years after the Agreement to return, he had missed the boat and there was absolutely no reason to admit him unless he could prove he had applied within that one year window. This he wasn't able to do.

We have nothing to do with him now and I do not see why we should even allow his ashes in. We should look after those who stoutly fought and defeated him, particularly the families of those of all races who died or were maimed fighting him and the CPM.

Those of his followers who refused the chance we gave to return to Malaysia in 1989 and 1990 should be left alone outside our country. They should not be allowed to return under the terms of the Haadyai Peace Agreement whereby we forgave them for their crimes. One of those who chose not to return was the No.1 killer of my predecessor, IGP Tan Sri Abdul Rahman Hashim. Surely we do not want him back without facing murder charges."

Tun Haniff Omar

Chin Peng was no hero nor was he a patriot, he was a violent terrorist who believed in spreading Communism through force of arms, in so doing he ordered the killing of thousands of Civilians and Military Personnel. He never expressed remorse for the deaths that he ordered.

In death he escaped what is due to him ..a trial in a Court of Law for crimes against humanity.

THE ALLAH ISSUE: IMCA OPEN LETTER TO MALAYSIAN CHURCH BODIES AND CHRISTIANS

“It should be pointed out here that in the translations of the Bible in China and India, where there are millions of Muslims, too, priests did not use Allah, rather they settled on the words “Sheng Fu, Sheng Zu, and Sheng Ling and in the Tamil Bible, the words Suthan, JesaPa and Parisutha Avi for The Holy Father, the Holy Son and the Holy Spirit respectively” What then, is the motive of such move to demand the use of Allah in the Malay Christian material?"
Sheikh Kareem,Secretary General, International Muslim Consumer Association

Have a read please:

IMCA OPEN LETTER TO MALAYSIAN CHURCH BODIES AND CHRISTIANS

International Muslim Consumer Association (IMCA) is a non-profit organization registered in Malaysia and having a council of Muslims NGOs from all over the world.

We refer to the report published in The Star Friday 23 August 2013, which contained the statement by Ms Ratna Osman of SIS Forum Berhad .

She remarked in the reaction to the Court of Appeal dismissal of the church application, that Malaysia is the only country that has such restriction . We find that this is factually wrong, and just to mention a few, Brunei and Saudi Arabia also have similar restrictions. As a responsible international organization, IMCA view the Malaysian Church bodies’ insistence to use the Islamic supreme name for the Lord Almighty, Allah with concern.

We ask what is the motivation of the Council of Churches of Malaysia (CCM), The Christian Federation of Malaysia and the National Evangelical Christian Fellowship in doing so. Is it to state a divinely ordained fact that they believe in, as is normally the case with those who love and adhere to the Truth as all God fearing men do, or are there other objectives behind this move?

We find that amongst others the Greek Orthodox Church disagrees with such usage as seen in the following quote:

“Unfortunately, we have all too frequently attempted to “contextualize” our sharing of the gospel –at the risk of diminishing the value of the church spiritual heritage. The loss of such a precious spiritual heritage in our efforts to communicate the message of Christ diminishes the real potential of accumulated spiritual experience” ( Gabriel Habib , the Greek Orthodox director of the middle east Christian Council letter to many Christian leaders; 1987)

We note that Christians have been trying to convert the Malays to Christianity since Vasco de Gamma; Albuquerque and St Francis Xavier without much success. Prof Mohamed Ajmal bin Abdul Razak Al Aidrus quotes G.E.Marrison (1957) in the Muslim World : a quarterly Journal of Islamic studies.. vol XLVII

“Without the Malays, the Church of this land must ever wear an immigrant and foreign aspect; without the Malays, the Church cannot claim to be true to its universal message; without the Malays, we are only partially serving the ideal of the unity of all men in Christ”

Not that the Church has not had other successes, as demonstrated by the cases of Azlina Jailani( Lina Joy) and Aishah Bokhari(Felicia). Prof Mohamed Ajmal Al Aidrus ask “Is the permissibility of the use of the word Allah one of the opportunities Christian evangelists has been waiting for?” Is this insistence to attract and invite feeble minded Malay Muslims to Christianity as shown in Azlina’s and Aishah’s case?

At this point it is vital to explain the name Allah, as far as Muslims are concerned. This is best explained in the declaration of faith for Muslims, i.e. La Ilaha Illallah. That there is no god but Allah. Here the Arabic word for “God” is ilah, and the name of the Supreme Being is Allah. It is a name, usage of which entails recognition of the entity of the Supreme Being, who exists without being made to exist, and who begets not and neither is begotten. Allah is not just a word, but a name. It is a name divinely ordained, i.e. that He, the Lord of the Universe calls Himself by that name, Allah. Hence, Ya Allah Ya Tuhan ku is Oh Allah, oh my God. Being that Allah is a proper noun that defies translation.

To use this name without qualification, when the usage carries another meaning is tantamount to pollution to the name itself and disrespect to the Almighty Lord of all beings, for it is His Name that one is polluting.
It is also disrespect to the adherents of those who subscribe to the sanctity of that Name. To our mind, how everybody calls their Lord, is based upon what is divinely instructed and not what they choose.

We belief that each set of beliefs have concepts and names associated with these divine teachings, that must surely carry consistent and not misleading meaning in any language. In any religion, the name of God is sacred. Hence the adherence to these names in its original religious terms and meaning should be the norm of truthful and sincere preaching.

Wouldn’t it be a mad house, if Hindus were to call Vishnu Jehovah, or Indian Christians calling the Father, Son and the Holy spirit Vishnu, Vishnu and theVishnu (which one is Vishnu, or all three are Vishnu?) and Muslims calling the Lord as Lord Buddha? What about the Chinese calling the name “Jesus” while praying to “Kuan Yin”. Solely on the argument of human rights, each group would have the right to use whatever name they so choose, and this right, on the basis of human rights alone, must be respected. The argument that it is a Constitutional right can also apply to all groups of people. (Rev Hermen Shastri Sec Gen of the Council of Churches of Malaysia argues “we shall continue this practice (using the word Allah) ... a right guaranteed to us in our Federal Constitution (Article 11) and we call for all parties to respect it”

Merely on this viewpoint of “rights”, it would surely be a grand mess.

J. Dudley Woodberry in Contextualization Among Muslims Reusing Common Pillars (Published in International Journal of frontier Missions, Volume 13:4 , OCT-DEC 1996) says:
“Allah,” for example, is of Christian Syriac origin and was in use long before Muhammad’s time.43 Wahy (revelation) is at least etymologically related to Jewish-Aramaic and Christian Ethiopic words and is used by the pre-Islamic poets in page 174 he says :The first part of the Muslim confession of faith (shahada—“I bear witness that there is no god but God”) is based on verses like suras 37:35/34 (“There is no god but God”) and 112:1-2 (“Say, ’He [is] God, One [ahad]. God the Alone”). The wording, as Hartwig Herschfeld50 indicates, is apparently based on the shema’ in Deuteronomy 6:4 (“Hear O Israel, the Lord our God is One [ahad] Lord”)

To suggest that the name “Allah” has a Christian Syriac origin, thus justifying the usage by current day Christians, is not an argument that is qualified. Surely the modern day Christian can use the name Allah, if they adhere to “Deuteronomy 6.4; that the Lord our God is One Lord. We are sure that if the Christians revert back to this original concept that God is One, He begets not, nor is He begotten, and this is consistently held in the Christian faith, no Muslims would object, as it is a Reality. Surely if the Christian is to use this name in all of its printed material, and submit wholly to The One Lord (Deuteronomy6:4) ( not trinity) , there cannot be any objection.

Professor Al Aidrus commented that there is an argument that the name Allah had been used in the Malay bible 272 years ago. This argument is an affirmation of the acts of an oppressing colonial power who did not consult or respect the local Muslims, who as colonisers, did as they pleased including raping the country pillaging Malayan national treasures and literary works and artifacts. By putting forth such an argument, the church condones such acts of brutality and unjust behavior, that is indeed in contradiction to the Christian maxim of “love thy neighbor”

We are also concerned that the Christian church is only demanding to use the Name “Allah” in material that is in Malay. They are not going to use this name in all their publications and in all languages.

Prof Al Aidrus states “It should be pointed out here that in the translations of the Bible in China and India, where there are millions of Muslims, too, priests did not use Allah, rather they settled on the words “Sheng Fu, Sheng Zu, and Sheng Ling and in the Tamil Bible, the words Suthan, JesaPa and Parisutha Avi for The Holy Father, the Holy Son and the Holy Spirit respectively”

What then, is the motive of such move to demand the use of Allah in the Malay Christian material?

Internationally we see that the Christians have developed and created the Arabic bible, initially not with Quranic Arabic, and later improved to be Arabic of the Quran. Now this bible is filled with verses that starts with Islamic “ basmallah” and end with sadaqallahul a'zim (a term used by Muslims). When one hears this bible being read, a lay person would think that it is the Quran. We are aware of churches in Indonesia being called “RUMAH JEMAAH ALLAH” and the existence of a college that teaches Christian priests Arabic and the Arabic bible in Indonesia.

In the Middle East there is a radio station that reads this Quranic Arabic bible on a daily basis.

Why have the Christian churches resorted to this kind of approach in their faith and effort to spread their faith? Is such an approach merely for practicing Christians, or is such contextualization meant to attract non Christians to Christianity?

Upon our examination of the Christian faith and practice, we see that this concept of contextualization, i.e. to present the faith in a manner that can be accepted by a society by using terms, symbols and concepts that are peculiar to that society, is common in Christian methods and beliefs.

Our research shows that even the concept of “trinity” could have been “ a concept conceived at the Council of Nicaea in 325 AD during the reign of the Roman emperor Constantine. The European; amongst others; have a history of a ‘three in one religion at the heart of ancient European pagan faith” (To see Cassaro's collection of ancient European "icons-of-three," which he claims illuminates this prehistoric "three-in-one religion," http://www.deepertruth.com/trinity) It is possible that the inclusion of the concept of Trinity is to make Christianity more easily acceptable to the early European.

In his paper “The Trinity and Contextualization. Rev Ralph Allan Smith writes to rebut the idea above.
Rev Ralph Allan Smith writes There is more, however, that needs to be said.

The development of orthodox Christian Trinitarianism involved the rejection of the "traditional, centuries-old, much-used, one can almost say Catholic, concept of the pre-existent Christ as the link between an impassible Father and a transitory world, that which made of him a convenient philosophical device, the Logos-doctrine dear to the heart of many orthodox theologians in the past, was abandoned."[31] The pro-Nicene theologians, in other words, changed the doctrine of the Church and changed it radically.
In the process, they carefully rejected non-Biblical elements that had inadvertently been introduced into the Church's tradition and laid the foundations for a much broader and fuller expression of the Biblical worldview. This kind of activity goes beyond the notion of linguistic contextualization. We can see in the Church Fathers the kind of self-examination and self-judgment that Conn refers to as de-contextualization. They purged themselves of anti-Christian elements in their thought and created a whole new theological language out of borrowed words.

Rev Ralph Allan Smith writes On this view, contextualization is merely an effort to communicate effectively to people who speak different languages and view the world in a different manner from those with a European cultural background. This may include restating basic Biblical truths in language that sounds odd to the Western ear, but there is neither an attempt to change nor an approval of any who basically change the message of the Christian Gospel itself.

Let us examine a simple example of the process of contextualization.

We see absorption of European pagan belief in the form of Christmas and Santa Claus. Today we know that it is a lie to associate the birth of Jesus with Christmas( there is no biblical; i.e. from the Aramaic bible; or historical evidence to back this claim that Christmas is a celebration of the birth of Christ), as we have been told and sung to by Christian for so long. We know of St Nicholas of Myra and the fabled association of Christmas to him and that for many years; Europe celebrated the feast of St Nicklous on Dec 6.

It is however held by some scholars that the legend of St Nicklous as a gift giver is in part pagan; from pre-Christian sources; The Teutonic god of Odin; had a long beard. Others attribute “long beard” to the German god “Thor”. Thor had a long white beard; and rode into the air in a chariot drawn by two white goats.

What is certain is that Santa Claus is not a biblical figure; neither does the celebration of Christmas have any direct biblical reference.

Dr. Richard P. Bucher argues the truth of the matter is that the modern Santa Claus is a conglomeration of sources, a legendary being that has evolved over the years. Along the way, pre-Christian legends, the story of St. Nicholas, Dutch immigrants to America, Washington Irving, Clement Moore, Thomas Nast, and the Coca-Cola company, all made their contributions.

What is defined as “Contextualization. Here the good Rev Ralph Allan Smith quotes
“Hesselgrave and Rommen select three early representative proposals.
1. 'We understand the term to mean making concepts or ideals relevant in a given situation' (Byang H. Kato).
2. '[Contextualization is] the translation of the unchanging content of the Gospel of the kingdom into verbal forms meaningful to the peoples in their separate cultures and within their particular existential situations' (Bruce J. Nicholls).
3. 'Contextualization properly applied means to discover the legitimate implications of the gospel in a given situation. It goes deeper than application. Application I can make or need not make without doing injustice to the text. Implication is demanded by a proper exegesis of the text' (George W. Peters).[10]
According to Conn, we must subject the "presuppositional framework" itself to the "judgment of the Word of God.'[14] To contexualize the message of the Gospel into the language of another culture, we must first remove from our Gospel preaching those elements that are the results of our own cultural bias. For we, too, are parts of a cultural matrix that includes anti-Christian elements that inhibit the ministry of the Gospel to other peoples.

So we see that Christianity has been using this method of contextualization for a very long time. It is not about speaking the Truth, of respecting the sanctity of the Pillars of other Faiths, like in this case, the name of the Supreme Being “ALLAH”, but as a means to make it seem acceptable for a people with their own set of belief to accept this set of belief called Christianity.

To make it more easily acceptable, terms and concepts that are present in that society, i.e. the society that is being targeted for conversion, is taken and used to make the Christian belief more readily acceptable.

Hence the creation of the Quranic Arabic bible; the request for the use of the name Allah is now clearly understood as part of a strategy to Christianise.

This leads to the reasonable conclusion as to what the motivation of the Malaysian Christian churches is, to demand the use of the name ALLAH in their material for the Malay/Muslim audience, and the same reasonable conclusion for the motivation of creating the bible in Quranic Arabic, or having service on Friday (as it is happening in Indonesia), instead of Sunday.

IMCA views that the Malaysian Christian churches demand to use the name “Allah “ is part and parcel of this contextualization strategy long used, a strategy used to influence Malay Muslims to convert. IMCA affirms that it is not our intention to belittle the Christian belief.

IMCA now humbly asks the God loving Malaysian Christians, to reconsider their stand in the usage of the name “Allah”, and walk the path of Christian righteousness. We are confident that Christians believe in the strength of their faith, and the righteousness of their faith, they should present it as it is, without packaging it into more palatable terms and concepts for non Christians.

We ask that the Christians who claim to be righteous people who profess the Truth, to be sincere with the Truth. “The Christian if they wish should think of introducing into the Malay Vocabulary the Aramaic word of address for God that Christ himself purportedly used: Eloi, Eli, Eloah, Elohim,Yahweh or Jehovah.” (Prof Al Aidrus)

Sincerity demands that they find a solution to this problem on the basis of Truth and Reason. We ask that they stand down their request; and retract their action, all in the name of RIGHTOUSNESS. We ask that they remain firm and consistent in naming the concept of the Supreme Being as mentioned in the Aramaic Bible, not what they prefer. For the Aramaic Bible is the basis of their belief.
Mankind today has too much problems as it is. We are faced with so much suffering, hunger, killing, and fighting. It would be more beneficial for all God loving souls to focus our efforts for the betterment of mankind. Respect for each other’s ethos and belief’s would result in less conflict in a world already filled with so much pain. We ask for PEACE.

Let us all work together for PEACE in the Name of the Lord.

Kita mendapati antara lainnya, Gereja Yunani Ortodoks (Greek Orthodox Church) tidak bersetuju dengan penggunaan nama Allah sebegitu berdasarkan petikan berikut;

J.Dudley Woodberry dalam "Contextualization Di Kalangan Muslim Menggunakan Rukun Biasa" ( Diterbitkan dalam International Journal of Frontier Missions, Volume 13:4 , Oct-Dec 1996) berkata;

Dalam kertas kerjanya "The Trinity and Contextualization", Rev Ralph Allan Smith menyangkal idea di atas.

Apakah yang ditakrifkan sebagai "Contextualization"? Memetik daripada Rev Ralph Allan Smith  "Hesselgrave dan Rommen memilih tiga cadangan awal;

No more excuses from Pakatan to dilly dally on a Shadow Cabinet, do it or face certain defeat in #GE14

The Pakatan Rakyat is “an opportunistic ad-hoc group not held together by even a vaguely coherent set of ideas but by a common desire to unseat the government"

The formation of a Shadow Cabinet is a must for the loose coalition of DAP, PAS and PKR to face the might of the UMNO/BN Machinery in the next GE 14 which is a little more than 4 years to come for them to have any hope of winning or even cutting down the winning majority of the UMNO/BN juggernaut.

The formation of a Shadow Cabinet will give the rakyat a choice in a two party/coalition election system. Instead of the present modus operandi of complaining and bickering and challenge for debates and dialogues and generally making the Gomen look bad, The Pakatan  Shadow cabinet will finally show to the Rakyat how Pakatan Rakyat intends to take this blessed country into the future as compared to the tried and tested Governmentship of the Barisan Nasional helmed by UMNO since Merdeka.

Silly General Election manifestos without any guarantee of implementation is not enough, Malaysians are more clever now you know despite what many politicians from BN or PR think.

Let the next Election be fought on who would bring the best policies and are capable of delivering their promises for the people of this blessed country and not fought on why Anwar is charged for sodomy or whether the DAP is anti Malay and anti Islam or if PAS is Islam enough or the MCA is not Chinese enough etc.

Forgive Chin Peng and allow him to come to Malaysia? No way!

Izin Chin Peng kembali ke tanah air, kata Karpal

  1. Chin Peng and his fellow ex-CTs who ordered or carried out the mass murders can only come back to Malaysia if and only if they are willing to be arrested and formally charged and tried for the mass murder of thousands of civilians and security forces.
  2. Forgiving Chin Peng and allowing him to come to Malaysia will send the wrong message that murderers can flee this country and come back decades later as a dying old man all forgiven.
  3. Murder is a crime that cannot be forgotten or forgiven, Karpal a senior lawyer of high standing of all people should know that.

An unexpected result from the 2013 General Election?

Lets not talk too much about the popular votes gained by the Pakatan Rakyat groupies of DAP, PKR and PAS for one thing they are never registered as a coalition with the Registrar of Societies anyway and more importantly they do not have any common political aim but to topple the UMNO led BN at any cost in the last GE13. In other words this loose coalition of DAP, PKR and PAS offer nothing to the country's future well being, but promises more bickering and internal fights among their leaders if they ever get to Putrajaya.

There are many analysis of the results of the GE13 election but one thing is sure, UMNO/BN as a political entity still remains numero uno:

BN berada di tempat pertama dengan memperoleh undi sebanyak 5,237,699; kedua, PKR (2,254,328), ketiga, DAP (1,736,267), keempat, Pas (1,633,389) manakala parti-parti lain dan Bebas (192,904).

The GE13 will forever be remembered by the Malay and Bumis here in Malaysia as a putsch by the Chinese Minority to put DAP in dominant political position had Anwar Ibrahim and Hj. Hadi delivered the Malay votes for the loose Pakatan rakyat 'coalition'. Well we all know what happened, DAP delivered but Hj Hadi and Anwar didn't fulfill their end of the bargain. Unfortunately for Malaysia the GE 13 produced this unexpected result:

Polarisation by religion? By race? or Both?

Fikir-fikirkan.
