Radiation Leak fears after damages to Japan Nuclear Power Plant

What happened at the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant? I don't know exactly actually but every body is talking about a nuclear disaster here, here and here.

Maybe these will help to make us understand what is going on:

In this video image taken from NTV Japan via APTN, smoke raises from Fukushima Daiichi power plant's Unit 1 in Okumamachi, Fukushima prefecture, Japan, Saturday, March 12, 2011. The walls of a building at the nuclear power station crumbled Saturday as smoke poured out, and Japanese officials said they feared the reactor could melt down following the failure of its cooling system in a powerful earthquake and tsunami. I think this will help the layman like me to understand the gravity of the damage at the nuclear power plant:

Let us all pray to God Al-Mighty that the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant does not become a second Chernobyl and that the measures taken by the experts will be successful.
