Of Bumi special treatment, migration, brain drain and the Equal Opportunities Commission

Ever the opportunist, the Chinese Dominated DAP has called on the Government to revive a Equal Opportunities Commission along with Laws to stem brain drain problem that it says has caused two million people to leave the country since 1957.

DAP joins call for equality panel to reverse brain drain

I beg to differ, despite the "special treatment" accorded to Malays/Bumiputras there are more than enough opportunities for any Malaysians who wants to make Malaysia their home to be successful even the racist Lim Guan Eng who love to call others racist became Chief Minister in 2008 a few years after he got out of jail for spreading false news and sedition albeit with a little help from daddy Lim DAP Supremo for life.

And as long as the likes of  Tony Pua, Karpal Singh, Lim Kit Siang, Anwar Ibrahim and his family, Hj Hadi, Nik Aziz, NH Chan, Gobind Singh, Tian Chua, Azmin, Theresa Kok, Ronnie Liu, Ngeh and Nga even that loud mouth Nizar and the pathetic Zainal Aznam one of the co-authors of the original NEM, calls Malaysia their home, then, I think we are OK unless you want to believe what that delusional ex US Ambassador to Malaysia has to say about us. (read Little Malotts)

Anyway people has been migrating as long as there has been people, they migrate for any reasons under the sun, in search for a better life just like the immigrants from China and India who came to then Malaya, their descendants has done very well for themselves after 53 years of Merdeka and I must say many became Federal Ministers, Chief Ministers and State Excos, many also became wealthy and as a group basically control the Malaysian economy and the private sector. They even get to have their children a choice of foreign languages to be taught from. The global migration story continues and will continue until the end of time, it will happen to any country even prosperous Singapore. The world cannot be global if there is no migration.

A few pictures tells a thousand words:

But to cheer you guys out there here's the Top five(weird) reasons people want to migrate from Malaysia from a cheery blog http://wakarimasenlol.com:

5. Internet in Malaysia is slow
4. (Uttered by a Chinese) Malaysia is too Chinese for him
3. Malaysia is not a Muslim country
2. Hard to get porn openly
1. No luck in getting a wife here

Read the full blog article here. Enjoy.

Anyway the DAP better be careful what they wished for because an Equal Opportunities Commissions if ever it is commissioned would not be just looking at the special treatment of the Malay/Bumis OK, it will also be looking at the glass ceiling in the Non-Bumi dominated Private Sector as well. They say “You can’t eat your cake and have it too”.

For those wanting to leave this blessed country called Malaysia,

For whatever 1001 reasons, please do, you are most welcome, some say that the grass is greener on the other side and some found out too late that it was just a mirage. Bon Voyage.
