In this blessed multiracial country, one cannot eat the cake and have it too

I have to give PM Najib his dues today, it never crossed my mind that he will actually say what he said to Malaysia's ethnic Chinese community:

Choose MCA or be left out of government, Najib tells Chinese
April 30, 2011

KUALA TERENGGANU, April 30 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak said today the Chinese community must choose to vote the MCA if they still wanted to represented in Putrajaya, or be left out.

Najib, who is also Umno and the ruling Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition’s chief, said its Chinese partner had sent out a clear message to voters that they cannot have it both ways. Read more here.

With the DAP pulling out all the stops to maintain their momentum towards almost total ethnic Chinese support in the run up to the next General election and threatens to make the MCA and Gerakan irrelevant, I guess this is timely advise from the PM and head of the ruling BN Federal Government.

In this blessed multiracial country no one race would be satisfied with what the Gomen can offer not even the majority Malay/Bumis. The Malaysian Chinese community should accept that one cannot eat the cake and have it too.

Ke-ke-ke-keh ... "almost total ethnic Chinese support"(?)

Manakala Star melaporkan: "Lim claimed that a DAP analysis showed it received only one-third of Chinese support in Sarawak."

Bukankah DAP seringkali menguar-uarkan parti mereka mewakili pelbagai bangsa serta mendakwa diri mereka itu sudahpun banyak luntur ciri-ciri keCinaan mereka?

Sementara menggambarkan dirinya sebagai seorang Chinese Last, Kit Siang mencabar supaya Soi Lek dan Koh Tsu Koon berani mengaku "Chinese Second" jikalau mereka benar-benar mendokong "1Malaysia".

Rumusannya:
