The Isle of Man TT..the greatest road racing on earth

The Isle of Man TT..the greatest road racing on earth not for the faint hearts, even spectators are exposed to danger:

It all began in 1907 when TT racing was born in Ireland with speeds under 40 mph. Racing at the time was banned in England. We are now at 200 mph, 234 drivers dead and bystanders that no one bothered to count.

The first and only time I visited the Isle of Man was in 1981, it was during my First Year of Civil Engineering course and part of the course was Field Surveying, I remembered the Isle of Man as a very quite and peaceful place, awaken only for the TT Road race once a year, not realizing much later that the TT was a deadly race both for the racers and the spectators.

Perhaps one day I will return to Isle of Man to experience the excitement of the race....
