I am just pulling the Pakatan MB and his Excos legs, he, he.

Zainul Ariffin's article "Is this Khalid's Waterloo" is a superb article. Read also a very scholarly write by Roger Tan at this webpage
http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2011/1/9/focus/7762107&sec=focus

I am not a lawyer, but I think this is closest to answering many of the questions asked in blogosphere and elsewhere. Mr Tan had done a lot of research in this matter I am sure.eddyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14778796377342661967noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7737110637382389058.post-54527077033741182182011-01-09T11:36:29.936+08:002011-01-09T11:36:29.936+08:00No reason at all to change the Selangor Constituti...No reason at all to change the Selangor Constitution. It has worked for the past many years and there's no reason it won't.

Now it's only the intransigence of Khalid the existing MB. It will come to pass as he'd lose out if he drags the issue. He knows he can't get the amendment thru as PR doesn't have the 2/3 majority. The rakyat will be laughing at them if they persist.

The appointment procedures have been there for the last so many years since the existence of the Federated Malay States.

Do read the New Straits Times article by zainul (?) - a very good one on this.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
